  • If our words are toxic, they will have a negative impact on our emotional, physical and spiritual well being.

  • Proverbs says you are snared by the words of your mouth.

  • All thoughts and words can be categorized into life or death.

  • There is life and death in the power of the tongue.

•      We have to know what the instructions are.

•      Obey the instructions.

•      Romans 10:9 is the first instruction.

•      Can you name other instructions?

•      For the purpose of this study, we will                 concentrate on ‘Meditate’ and ‘Speak’ as

        two of the instructions.

  • We have over 400billion electrochemical reactions going on in our brain daily but we are only aware of 2000 of them.

  • We have 100 billion neurons and dendrites and each neuron form synapses and there are about

     1,000 000 000 000 000 (quadrillion synapses)

  • The connections and reconnections occur throughout the day as information move across the synapses, the neurons talking to each other.

•     The spiritual implication is; without a renewing of the mind the life giving force from the spirit would not benefit us. A renewed mind is a transformed mind, there is an actual structural change in our BRAIN. Thoughts are real they occupy space. Thoughts are laid down as memory and before you can have memory there has to be structural change in the brain.

•       Speed of transmission of information can be as slow as 0.5meters per second and as fast as 268miles per hour. So connections or disconnection can occur slowly or quickly.

•       When we think correctly and have good thoughts we ensure disconnection of lethal brain circuits and formation of healthy ones. Meditating on God’s word will guarantee weakening and hopefully eradication of toxic thoughts and laying down of good circuits.
